John L. Coble

After four decades as a licensed attorney representing parties litigating disputes in the courtroom, I decided to focus my practice on helping parties resolve their disputes by staying out of the courtroom through the mediation process.

During these past 40 years, my practice has primarily focused on litigating disputes for both plaintiffs and defendants concerning various and sundry matters including motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, negligence, products liability, breach of contract, residential and commercial construction defects, landlord/tenant disputes, estate and trust issues, real estate and easement disputes, admiralty and maritime claims, trademark infringement. My practice involved lawsuits in both state and federal courts. I handled multi-district litigation matters and class actions. I bring this experience to every mediation.

I am a North Carolina Certified Superior Court Mediator. My goal is to help parties resolve their lawsuits so that they can stay out of the courtroom. I prefer to conduct the mediation conference in-person but remote and hybrid conferences conducted via Zoom can be arranged.
